Pre-requisite: Open Water Certification
Advanced Open Water (AOW) is for certified divers looking to advance their scuba training. Advanced scuba skills included buoyancy, navigation, mapping, deep, wreck, and search and recovery. Individuals certified with AOW can dive up to 120 feet.
Course Requirements:
- eLearning of fundamental scuba concepts
- One to two confined water (pool) session refresher of Open Water skills
- Six open water dives (check-out) with completion of Advanced skills
Materials needed:
- Diving Mask
- Snorkel
- Boots
- Scuba fins
- Underwater flashlight / torch
- Hood
- Gloves
- Surface Marker Buoy
- Water-resistant watch rated to a minimum of 100m
